The attorneys work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators. We are now seeking an Attorney with 2 to 5+ years of workers' compensation defense experience.
Requirements:
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees;
- Member of the State Bar of California, in good standing;
- 2 to 5+ years of workers' compensation defense experience;
- Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability;
- Excellent written and oral communication;
- Commitment to proactive case management;
- Experience in Merus or Litify is preferred but not required;
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams is preferred but not required.
Work Environment:
- Location: Must reside in the state of California.
- Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines.
- Physical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required.
- Auditory/Visual: Hearing, vision, and speaking.
