Job Information:Johnson, Yacoubian & Paysse is a fast growing AV rated New Orleans insurance defense firm seeking a Louisiana licensed workers' compensation attorney. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of five years' experience in conducting investigations, taking and defending depositions, motion practice and trial experience is a plus. We are open to hiring and training insurance defense attorneys who have not practiced in the area of worker's compensation.
- Admitted in Louisiana; Mississippi licensure is a plus, but not required
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent research ability, written skills and oral communication skills
- 5 years or more litigation experience

Requirements:
- Draft initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, trial and appellate filings
- Draft and respond to discovery
- Draft and respond to discovery related motions
- Regularly attend court appearances
- Take and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses
- Draft Motions for Summary Judgment and other motions
