Duties and Responsibilities:
- Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of benefits and ERISA claims with a focus on single plaintiff ERISA litigation.
- Federal court litigation skills are a plus
- ERISA or complex commercial litigation experience is preferred
- Experience with complex e-discovery is preferred
Skills and Educational Requirements:
- JD from accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials
- 3+ years of experience in benefits, class, or other types of sophisticated litigation preferred
- Current Louisiana Bar admission
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, along with ability to work independently on various projects
