Description:Are you a recent law school graduate or a junior attorney looking to make an impact in the field of Workers' Compensation? Beninato & Matrafajlo is looking for a driven Associate Attorney to join our Workers' Compensation practice.
Whether you just passed the Bar or have a couple of years of practice under your belt, we provide the mentorship and courtroom exposure you need to become a powerhouse advocate in the NJ Division of Workers' Compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Advocate for clients in NJ Workers' Compensation courts
- Manage: Oversee a caseload from initial filing through settlement or judgment
- Counsel: Provide compassionate and direct legal advice to injured workers
- Litigate: Handle motions, take depositions, and conduct trials under the guidance of seasoned partners
Qualifications:
- NJ Bar Admission: Must be licensed to practice in NJ (or awaiting results from the most recent Bar exam)
- The "Hustle": You are not afraid of a busy court calendar and enjoy being on your feet
- Communication: You can explain complex legal concepts to a client without sounding like you are reading from a textbook
- Experience: 0-2 years. We love former judicial clerks or anyone with a passion for NJ administrative law
Compensation:
$95,000 - $120,000
