King & Spalding seeks a mid-level associate for its underwriting and structured finance and capital markets team in New York. Ideal candidates should have experience advising financial institutions on securities offerings under the Securities Act of 1933, including representing issuers and underwriters in registered and exempt transactions. Familiarity with disclosure requirements, offering documentation, and compliance matters under the 1933 Act is essential. Candidates with general capital markets or leveraged finance backgrounds and a strong interest in securities law are encouraged to apply. The practice provides for a mix of esoteric asset-backed securities offerings, registered equity underwriting offerings, public-company M&A, at-the-market offerings, and special purpose acquisition companies. Candidates should have superior academic credentials and prior experience at a large law firm.

The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is $260,000 to $390,000. The salary offer will be contingent upon various factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
