Description:
Qualifications:- Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.
- LL.M. in Taxation is a plus.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to manage complex matters with professionalism and sound judgment required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Develop and implement personalized estate plans for clients across a broad range of wealth levels and planning objectives.
- Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Provide counsel on tax-efficient strategies for estate and wealth transfer planning.
- Prepare and file estate tax and gift tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist with trust and estate administration matters as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Contribute to a high-volume practice requiring flexibility and willingness to assist across a wide range of matters as needs evolve.
- Assist in the creation and/or restructuring of family offices and gain exposure to advanced planning techniques, including QSBS planning and other sophisticated strategies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding varied family and financial dynamics while supporting long-term client objectives on a national platform.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
