Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients in Estate proceedings.
  • Client communication and meetings to obtain information required for Probate and Administration of Estates.
  • All aspects of representation of clients in Surrogate's Court.
  • Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law.
  • Ability to prepare and/or review estate tax returns and accountings a plus.

Key Skills:
  • Strong academic credentials; exceptional research and writing skills.
  • Law Review (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-10year(s) Trusts and Estates experience.
  • Possess the ability to work collaboratively across departments within the firm.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Anticipate the needs of clients and address them accordingly.
  • Skilled in customer service, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
