Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to join our personal injury litigation team. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled plaintiff-side trial attorney who is comfortable taking complex personal injury matters from litigation through trial and verdict.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 personal injury trials handled through verdict as lead or primary trial counsel.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license and good standing with the State Bar of California.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage personal injury cases from litigation through trial and verdict.
Develop and execute case-specific litigation strategies.
Conduct and defend depositions, including expert depositions.
Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and evidentiary motions.
Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, settlement, and trial.
Conduct discovery and oversee the development of the factual and evidentiary record.
Work with medical providers, experts, investigators, and other litigation professionals.
Prepare witnesses and clients for deposition, mediation, and trial.
Handle direct and cross-examination of witnesses at trial.
Prepare and present opening statements and closing arguments.
Analyze liability, damages, medical records, expert opinions, and settlement value.
Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
