Position Overview:We're looking for a trial attorney to own a caseload of complex plaintiff-side civil matters from intake through trial, mentor junior attorneys and staff, and help shape firm-wide case strategy. This is a high-impact role for a litigator who wants real ownership over outcomes and a genuine path to grow with the firm as it scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a complex caseload of plaintiff civil matters from pre-litigation through trial.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other court documents in California state and federal courts.
- Conduct depositions, oral arguments, hearings, and jury trials.
- Develop case strategy in partnership with clients and firm leadership.
- Negotiate settlements to maximize client outcomes.
- Mentor and supervise associate attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; active California State Bar license in good standing.
- 3-7+ years of civil litigation experience with significant plaintiff-side work.
- Demonstrated jury trial experience.
- Strong command of California civil procedure and evidence rules.
- Prior supervisory or mentorship experience preferred.
