Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a midlevel Healthcare Transactional & Regulatory Associate to join its nationally recognized Healthcare Practice Group in either Seattle or Los Angeles (preferred). We are looking for an associate with 3–5 years of experience to support the group's growing healthcare regulatory and transactions practice.This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced healthcare attorneys on sophisticated transactional, operational, and regulatory matters for healthcare providers, health systems, and other industry participants. The role is designed to provide focused development within healthcare regulatory and transactional work, with meaningful mentorship, hands-on responsibility, and long-term growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
The associate will support a broad range of healthcare transactional and regulatory matters, including:
- Healthcare contract drafting and negotiations
- Operational and regulatory counseling for healthcare providers and health systems
- Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement advice
- Healthcare compliance and regulatory analysis, including fraud and abuse support
- Cross-disciplinary support on digital health, compliance, and healthcare transactional matters
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of relevant healthcare transactional and regulatory experience, preferably in a law firm setting
- Strong drafting, analytical, and client counseling skills
- Experience advising clients on regulatory and operational matters
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare law and the operational side of healthcare practice
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively across teams
- Strong academic credentials and excellent professional judgment
