Blue Bell, PA; Exton, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Warrington, PADescription: Fox Rothschild is seeking an associate in the Bucks County, Chester County, Montgomery County, or Philadelphia area to join our esteemed team in the Taxation & Wealth Planning Department, Fiduciary Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have two to three years of relevant experience. We are currently not accepting resumes from search firms for this position.
Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong research, writing skills, and academic record required.
- Experience in fiduciary litigation (will contests, accountings, objections to accountings, all manner of trust disputes) required.
- Experience in trusts, charitable trusts (administration, including drafting non-judicial settlement agreements) and/or estates required.
- Orphans' Court clerkship preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
