AGG, an Am Law 200 firm with more than 200 attorneys with offices in Atlanta and Washington, D.C., is seeking a Tax attorney with 5-20 years of transactional and business‑focused tax experience in a law firm setting to support our leading Affordable Housing team. This role will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team serving developers, investors, lenders, syndicators, nonprofits, and public entities.Demonstrated experience with partnership tax and exempt organization/nonprofit matters (including private public partnerships in housing/urban renewal) is required, and exposure to LIHTC (Section 42) and historic and new markets tax credits is helpful. Candidates must have strong academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills. An LL.M. in Taxation is preferred, and a degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
This position can be located in our Atlanta or Washington, D.C. offices. Remote candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. AGG offers competitive compensation arrangements.
