Description:
The Democratic Staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking,
Housing & Urban Affairs seeks paid interns to work with the Majority
Staff during Summer 2024. These internships, open to full-time
undergraduate, graduate, law students, or recent graduates, provide an
opportunity to observe and work closely with Committee professional
staff/counsels on a variety of policy, legislative, and oversight
projects related to financial services, consumer protection, housing,
transit, community development, climate risk, national security, and
other topics. Interns will engage in legal and fact research,
preparation for hearings and meetings, and support with necessary
administrative tasks. The office is committed to having an organization
