AV-rated, civil litigation firm is searching for an experienced
litigation attorney for its property subrogation department. The ideal
candidate for this associate position will have 3 to 5 years of
insurance defense or subrogation litigation experience, though a
well-qualified candidate with other experience may be considered. The
skills associated with this position would include the analysis and
assessment of recovery opportunities involving large property losses,
preparation of pleadings and discovery associated with prosecuting a
large property loss subrogation action, taking and defending lay witness
and expert witness depositions and preparation for and taking a case
through trial. Effective interpersonal communication skills and
excellent academic credentials required. The candidate is required to be
admitted to the practice of law in good standing in North Carolina.
Candidates with admission to South Carolina in good standing will be
considered, but must secure admission to North Carolina within a year of
employment. Compensation commensurate with experience, generous bonus
package and substantial benefits package offered. Remote working
afforded on a partial basis.
