We currently have openings in the Legal Division. The Legal
Division of the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office provides
pretrial and trial support for the Assistant State Attorneys in the
office. Responsibilities include researching and providing legal
authority support for assistants in court; writing motions on
investigative, pretrial and trial issues; handling post-conviction
motions and extradition issues; reviewing court rulings for potential
appeals; and oral argument on motions and attending trials of complex
cases to assist trial prosecutors when assigned. Training will be
provided as necessary for extraditions and related matters. Minimum 3
years of extensive criminal experience required, with appellate
experience preferred as excellent writing skills are necessary.
Membership in the Florida Bar is also required. Salary will be
commensurate with experience. This position comes with an excellent
