This role involves proving prompt, professional, and practical immigration law advice to our business clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the assigned team(s) in filing immigration case work and providing temporary support and coverage across teams when necessary.
- Conducting legal research and assist in preparing written projects for immigration cases.
- Maintaining the quality and consistency of case work within the assigned team(s).
- Evaluating cases and providing strategies or solutions to issues.
- Guiding clients and employees through the processes.
- Liaising with other attorneys or departments in the firm on projects.
- Performing comprehensive reviews of filings.
- Conducting thorough legal research and drafting concise and well-reasoned legal memoranda and/or briefs.
- Preparing immigration-based filings for case management.
- Continuing professional growth through interaction with team members.
- Operating with integrity and loyalty to the team.
- Going above and beyond to serve clients and team members.
- Contributing to the firm as a whole.
Position Requirements:
Education Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in at least one state.
Experience:
Prior experience in immigration law preferred but not required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and Google Workspace applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
