Position Overview:
We are seeking a Staff Attorney to support our litigators across the firm's consumer class action matters, with a particular focus on document review and client-side discovery. This attorney will serve as the primary point of contact for reviewing and analyzing large volumes of legal documents for relevance and privilege produced in high-stakes litigation matters. This attorney will also be responsible for identifying and extracting key information from documents, organizing the documents for further review, and assisting with deposition preparation for other attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage document review and client-side discovery across the firm's consumer class action matters.
Assist with preparing responses to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
Review client documents for relevance, responsiveness, privilege, and confidentiality; prepare privilege logs; and coordinate document productions.
Analyze documents produced by opposing parties and third parties to identify key evidence, significant patterns, and factual inconsistencies.
Prepare factual chronologies, document summaries, and analyses connecting evidence to the claims and defenses.
Identify gaps and deficiencies in discovery responses and productions, and recommend follow-up discovery.
Assist with deposition preparation by identifying exhibits, developing lines of questioning, and organizing supporting materials.
Organize and maintain evidence for use in briefing, depositions, hearings, and trial.
Track discovery deadlines, outstanding obligations, and necessary supplementation in coordination with litigators, paralegals, and litigation support professionals.

Qualifications:
Required:

J.D. from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law and in good standing,
At least 2 years of civil litigation experience, ideally in class action litigation
Sincere desire and ability to focus on client interaction
Strong interpersonal skills and genuine empathy for clients
Comfort and enthusiasm in advising clients in complex litigation
Genuine commitment to consumers' rights and plaintiff-side litigation

Preferred:

Familiarity with discovery collection, document review, and imaging
Prior class action litigation experience
