JJ Moore & Associates is seeking a motivated and compassionate Immigration Associate Attorney with a minimum of two years of immigration law experience to join our growing legal team.

Our practice focuses primarily on humanitarian, family-based, and removal defense immigration matters. We are committed to providing strong legal representation while treating every client with compassion, respect, and understanding.

This is a great opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients, solving immigration issues, and being part of a supportive team. You will manage your own cases while working closely with experienced attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

What You'll Do:

Meet with clients and assess their immigration options.
Develop and manage case strategies.
Handle humanitarian and family-based matters, including VAWA, U Visas, adjustment of status, waivers, and consular processing.
Draft and review applications, petitions, declarations, legal arguments, and RFE responses.
Prepare clients for USCIS interviews.
Represent clients before USCIS and Immigration Court, depending on your experience.
Review casework prepared by paralegals and work collaboratively with the legal team.
Keep clients informed about their cases and next steps.
Manage deadlines and maintain accurate case records.

You do not need to have experience in every immigration case type listed above. We are looking for an attorney with a solid immigration law foundation, good judgment, strong client skills, and a willingness to continue learning and developing.

Skills & Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum of two years of immigration law experience.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage cases and deadlines effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compassionate and professional approach to working with clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to providing high-quality, ethical, and client-centered representation.

Experience with VAWA, U Visas, waivers, adjustment of status, consular processing, RFEs, or removal defense is preferred, but experience in every area is not required.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
