A Premier Employment Law Firm is a boutique labor and employment law firm located in Midtown Manhattan. We represent both employers and employees in a wide range of workplace disputes, with a strong emphasis on litigation. Our practice includes wage and hour class actions, discrimination and harassment matters, and employment contract disputes.

We are seeking a skilled Employment Attorney with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience to join our team. This is a hands-on role with significant client interaction and responsibility from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct client intake interviews and case assessments
  • Manage discovery, including document review and drafting responses
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Represent clients at mediations and court conferences
  • Draft legal pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
  • Handle hearings and assist in trials
  • Negotiate settlements and employment agreements
  • Perform legal research and prepare memoranda

Requirements:
  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in New York
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
  • Strong client service orientation
  • Spanish fluency is a plus
