Do you have a successful track record representing clients and are interested in mentoring the next generation of legal professionals? Our firm has an immediate opening for a full-time trial attorney who will be responsible for managing cases in pre-suit and litigation.

Duties include but are not limited to: ensuring clients are treated, communicating with clients and insurance adjusters, motion support, depositions, mediations, and trials. An ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury litigation and pre-litigation personal injury practice. The ideal candidate is also open to growth opportunities and leadership within the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses
• Prepare for and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration hearings
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws
• Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings

Qualifications:

• Active license in good standing with The Florida Bar
• Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
• Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills
• Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry
• Applicants must have trial, mediation, and arbitration representation experience
• Completion of a 4-year bachelor's degree, as well as 3-year law degree from an accredited law school
