A Financial Institution, based in New Hyde Park, has been a leading Revenue-Based Funding enterprise since 2011. We're expanding rapidly and seek a skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to manage complex legal matters in our fast-paced industry.Senior Litigation Attorney duties include but not limited to:
Senior Litigation Attorney Qualifications:
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents.
- Drafting motions for state and federal court litigation.
- Attending court appearances and arbitration hearings as necessary.
- Conducting judgment enforcement through levy, garnishment, and other lawful judicial remedies.
- Familiarity with Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code.
- Maintaining case files and ensuring all legal processes are followed.
- A New York State Bar License (required); Federal court admission is a plus.
- 4-8 years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Proficiency with NYSCEF and comfort with drafting and filing legal documents.
- Experience in negotiating resolutions.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- The ability to multitask and thrive in a busy environment.
- A professional demeanor and positive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
