Description:

AV Rated, dynamic, mid-sized, trial litigation and insurance defense firm seeks an experienced, self-motivated attorney. An ideal candidate will have several years of civil litigation and/or insurance defense and trial experience. Exceptional writing, analytical skills, attention to detail, and professionalism are mandatory characteristics of a qualified candidate for this position. Successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of assigned cases including, but not limited to, communication with clients, opposing counsel, and experts; drafting, reviewing, and revising pleadings, correspondence, and discovery; and preparing for and attending hearings, settlement conferences, mediation, and trials.

Duties:

Represent clients in litigation matters across multiple areas of law, ensuring effective advocacy and case management.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and prepare for trials.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements with precision.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while maintaining a focus on their best interests.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff in the firm to develop comprehensive case strategies.
Stay current on relevant laws and regulations affecting various practice areas to provide informed legal counsel.
Manage client relationships by maintaining clear communication regarding case progress and developments.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff within the firm.

Experience:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation with a proven track record in handling complex cases.s
Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
Exceptional writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation.
Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
