Trif & Modugno LLC is seeking an experienced attorney to join its growing litigation and insurance practice primarily based in Morristown, New Jersey.Our attorneys handle complex, high-value matters involving insurance coverage, commercial disputes, professional liability, and related litigation in state and federal courts. The successful candidate will take a significant role in managing matters, developing case strategy, working directly with clients, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing substantive motions, and handling matters through resolution.
We are looking for a strong litigator who is ready to take ownership of a meaningful caseload while working collaboratively with the Firm's partners and other attorneys. The position also offers opportunities to mentor junior attorneys and play a meaningful role in building and developing a growing practice.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of significant litigation experience in New Jersey, New York and/or federal courts
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload and competing deadlines
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar, or eligibility for admission by motion
- New York admission is a plus
- Insurance coverage, complex commercial litigation, and/or professional liability experience is valued but not required
The position is primarily based in our Morristown office and offers a hybrid work arrangement, generally including two remote days per week, with additional flexibility potentially available depending on experience and the needs of the practice.
