Description:
Are you the attorney other lawyers come to for a second set of eyes?
The Alsandor Law Firm is a Houston boutique devoted exclusively to Texas family law. We're looking for a board-certified or highly experienced family law litigator who takes pride in getting the details right, and in helping others get them right too.

What makes this role different
You won't just carry a caseload. You'll be the firm's quality checkpoint and a trusted leader. You'll review and approve work before it goes out, develop our associates and paralegals, and step in as the go-to attorney when our managing attorney is away. Your judgment will shape the work of the whole firm.

We value experience, and we value attorneys who stay coachable. You'll learn and apply our firm's standards for drafting, client communication, and strategy. If you're open to adapting your approach and enjoy raising the bar for a team, you'll thrive here.

What you'll get
  • $165,000 – $200,000 base salary
  • Production, origination, and team-leadership bonuses
  • Hybrid schedule (3–4 days in office)
  • Health insurance / Retirement plan / PTO / Bar dues and CLE
  • Meaningful work at a respected boutique, alongside a Board Certified peer who shares your standards

Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:
  • Handle your own family law caseload, about 60% of your time, including hearings, mediation, and trial
  • Review and sign off on pleadings, orders, and decrees before they're filed
  • Mentor associates and paralegals through weekly case reviews and hands-on feedback
  • Answer client questions with clarity and compassion
  • Partner with the managing attorney on strategy and complex matters
  • Lead the team when the managing attorney is out

Qualifications:
What you'll bring
  • Board Certification in Family Law (TBLS) (preferred)
  • Texas bar license in good standing
  • 8+ years of Texas family law practice with substantial trial experience
  • Experience supervising or mentoring attorneys or paralegals
  • A sharp eye for detail and a direct, constructive feedback style
  • A coachable, team-first mindset

Bonus points:
  • High-net-worth property division or QDRO experience
  • Clio experience
