Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, custody, parent-time, modifications, and enforcement actions.
- Develop and execute effective legal strategies aligned with each client's goals and the realities of the law.
- Appear in court regularly, including motion hearings, evidentiary hearings, and trials, advocating confidently before Commissioners and Judges.
- Conduct advanced legal research and analysis on complex family law issues.
- Draft high-quality motions, pleadings, and briefs.
- Collaborate with paralegals, associate attorneys, and firm leadership to ensure strong case execution and client service.
- Conduct consultations with prospective clients and contribute to firm growth through client development.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active Utah Bar license in good standing, or Utah resident actively pursuing Utah licensure. May consider experienced family law attorneys who are willing to relocate to Utah.
- Minimum of three (3) years of family law litigation experience.
- Strong command of family law statutes, procedure, and courtroom advocacy.
- Excellent legal writing, analytical reasoning, and strategic judgment.
- Ability to communicate clearly, persuasively, and professionally, both in writing and in court.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust with clients during emotionally charged matters.
- Proven ability to manage a substantial caseload while maintaining quality and professionalism.
- Demonstrated history of client satisfaction and ethical practice, regardless of outcome.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $130,000–$150,000 base salary, plus monthly performance-based bonuses. Opportunity to transition to a percentage-based collections compensation structure based on performance.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in Bountiful/Woods Cross, Utah.
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
