K&L Gates is seeking a senior Environment & Energy associate to join the Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate will have:
- Six to nine years of experience advising clients on electric power regulatory matters
- Strong legal drafting skills and legal research skills
- Experience with administrative litigation before FERC
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who is willing to take ownership of matters, engage regularly with clients, and contribute meaningfully to the continued success of our practice. This role requires someone who thrives working in teams and is a self-starter who is comfortable operating independently while maintaining close collaboration with colleagues.

Base Compensation: $350,000 - $ 415,000 / year
The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
