What you'll do in your role.
  • Serve as day-to-day legal support for T-Mobile's Integrity Line Team (ethics hotline), assisting with the escalation and triage of sensitive and high visibility hotline reports.
  • Serve as a day-to-day legal advisor for T-Mobile's Corporate Investigations team responsible for investigating Code of Business Conduct violations and other legal, regulatory, or company policy violations.
  • Scope, manage, and direct complex, high visibility, and privileged internal investigations.
  • Provide cross-functional legal support on matters that may intersect with HR, Litigation, Asset Protection, Organized Crime, Fraud, Government Affairs, and Cybersecurity.
  • Provide updates and written work product to the Chief Compliance Officer and other senior business leaders on investigative activities and results.
  • Closely coordinate with T-Mobile's Post Investigations Remediations Team on root cause analyses and remediation activities stemming from investigative work.
  • Monitor compliance and enforcement trends and regularly advise investigative teams on best investigative practices.
  • Maintain and continuously update internal investigative manuals and guidance documents.
  • Develop and deliver trainings to investigators on best investigative practices, compliance trends and enforcement actions, updated internal investigatory procedures, etc.
  • Serve as policy SME for various internal T-Mobiles policies.
  • Assist with various activities designed to improve the enterprise-wide compliance program (e.g., direct compliance risk assessments, review and revise T-Mobile policy documents, assist with the development of the annual company-wide Ethics and Compliance training program, direct privileged audits, etc.).
  • Project management and other duties as assigned.

The experience you'll bring.
  • A US law degree and admission to at least one bar is required.
  • 7+ years of experience as an attorney with relevant government, in-house, or law firm experience (at least two of three preferred).
  • Prior investigations experience, either directly supporting federal, state, or local law enforcement in criminal or complex civil matters or supporting large enterprises in connection with internal or government investigations.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other legal and business professionals in a complex organization with a focus on delivering crisp and precise guidance on tight deadlines.
  • Ability to interact with senior management with strong executive maturity, including producing concise and polished written work product.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with investigators and investigative partners.
  • Ability to establish self as a subject matter expert in specialty fields.
  • Keen business sense with strong judgment, writing, and decision-making skills.

Qualifications (preferred)
  • Familiarity with DOJ's guidance on the Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs.
  • Familiarity with the telecommunications industry or other large service-industry companies.
  • Prior experience conducting root cause analysis and post-investigation remediation activities.
  • Prior experience providing training to investigators and business leaders.
  • At least 18 years of age
