What you'll do in your role.
  • Lead Real Estate Transactions: Negotiate, draft, and close a wide range of complex real estate agreements - including leases, amendments, easements, and access agreements - to support T-Mobile's network build, expansion, and operations.
  • Support Network Deployment: Provide legal counsel on risk, title, and operational issues to ensure timely development of T-Mobile's communications systems.
  • Strategic Partnering: Advise business leaders on real estate strategy for T-Mobile's network real estate portfolio.
  • Process & Risk Management: Develop tools, playbooks, and best practices that streamline transactions, mitigate risk, and deliver consistent, business-aligned outcomes across markets.
  • Leadership & Training: Mentor and train attorneys, paralegals, and business teams on real estate issues, promoting alignment, efficiency, and operational excellence.

The Experience You'll Bring:
  • Educational Excellence: Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school. Admission to a state bar, with eligibility to practice as in-house counsel in Washington State or New Jersey (as applicable).
  • Relevant Experience: 7-10 + years of broad real estate experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department, with significant work in commercial leasing transactions. Experience in telecom or infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
  • Transaction Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead high-value, high-volume real estate deals from term sheet through closing, balancing legal risk with business priorities.
  • Business Orientation: Proven track record of advising executives, influencing strategy, and delivering practical, actionable legal solutions in a fast-paced corporate setting.
  • Efficiency Driver: Adept at managing high transaction volumes within ambitious timeframes, ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional communicator and collaborator, with the executive presence to train, mentor, and influence senior stakeholders across the business.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school & admission and licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 7-10 years of on-point in-house and/or law firm real estate experience.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with other legal and business professionals with a focus on identifying efficiencies and delivering results.
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $144,100 - $260,000

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
