Jabil is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated attorney to join our Commercial Legal team as a Senior Corporate Counsel, Intelligent Infrastructure Segment. Intelligent Infrastructure at Jabil powers the backbone of the digital world, spanning data centers, hyperscalers, cloud computing, servers, storage, rack solutions, and AI infrastructure. Jabil helps customers design, build, and scale the high-performance technologies that enable cloud services, advanced computing, and next-generation AI at global scale.

This role encompasses working on complex commercial transactions and customer engagements related to Jabil product offerings and contract manufacturing and solutions businesses.

The ideal candidate will have experience drafting and negotiating product development, commercialization, sophisticated manufacturing and supply agreements, and other service and maintenance agreements.

Working closely with business partners and legal leaders, the senior management team of Jabil's Commercial Legal team, this attorney will:

Support business units across the full product and/or services lifecycle, from concept and development through commercialization and post-market activities.
Support services transactions and strategic commercial engagements.
The role will also support merger and acquisitions - related activities.

What Will You Do?

Drafting, revising (redlining), and negotiating global customer and supplier commercial contracts, including manufacturing, procurement and contracts for the provision of consulting and other services
Draft and negotiate ancillary agreements, including statements of work, quality agreements, professional services agreements, license agreements, tooling agreements, and related contracts
Advise business teams in consultation with subject matter experts on commercial risk allocation, including liability, indemnities, warranties, IP, termination, and dispute resolution in collaboration with subject matter experts
Partner with sales, business development, finance, and operations to structure new business transactions
Develop a deep understanding of Jabil's contract manufacturing and other business models and risk profiles
Develop strong working relationships with internal business clients and external customers
Analyze and summarize complex legal, regulatory, and commercial issues for senior management
Provide advice on contract interpretation, performance disputes, and ongoing customer and supplier matters
Collaborate with subject matter experts, e.g., regulatory, compliance, IP, litigation, and quality teams, on governance and claims management
Manage outside counsel as needed for specialized commercial matters
Recommend and drive best practices in product governance and commercial contracting
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Reports to Lead Counsel for Intelligent Infrastructure
Initially, the role does NOT directly manage employees, though this may evolve
May supervise professional staff or less experienced attorneys

What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited or foreign-equivalent law school; member of a bar in good standing and eligible to practice law in Florida
3-5 years of legal experience, including demonstrated experience serving as product counsel or advising on product lifecycle legal issues and/or manufacturing and supply agreements
Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements, particularly manufacturing, supply, or development agreements
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong business acumen and practical, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
Amenable to attending calls with global business counterparts outside standard Eastern U.S. business hours
