Criminal Defense Lawyers is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Attorney to join our growing firm. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a positive impact on clients' lives. As a senior attorney, you will handle a wide variety of family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, support modifications, and more. You'll have the opportunity to lead cases, mentor junior attorneys, and play an active role in shaping the future of our firm.Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division matters.
- Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and develop legal strategies.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, orders and briefs.
- Advocate for clients in court, negotiations, and mediation proceedings.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients, addressing their concerns and questions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff within the firm.
- Perform other legal duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Virginia State Bar member in good standing.
- 4+ years of experience in family law.
- Strong knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong commitment to client advocacy and achieving favorable outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a high caseload and meet deadlines.
License/Certification:
Virginia Bar (Required)
