We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Prelitigation Attorney to manage a docket of complex and high-value personal injury matters before litigation. This position is ideal for an attorney who excels in advanced case evaluation, strategic negotiation, while thriving in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

The Senior Prelitigation Attorney will develop pre-suit strategy on sophisticated claims, negotiate high-stakes settlements, and serve as a resource and mentor to junior attorneys. Working closely with clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams, this role is critical to driving exceptional outcomes, maintaining firm standards, and delivering an elevated client experience—all while upholding the highest ethical and professional expectations.

What You'll Do:

Manage a high-volume prelitigation caseload from intake through pre-suit resolution.
Analyze liability, damages, medical records, and supporting documentation on complex claims.
Develop case strategies, prepare demand packages, and monitor carrier responses.
Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the prelitigation process.
Collaborate with insurance companies, legal team members and medical providers to achieve the best outcomes for client.
Educate clients on procedures, timelines, and expectations.
Address client concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing parties.
Evaluate offers, advise clients, and prepare settlement agreements.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, ethical standards, and firm policies.
Maintain organized electronic case files and track deadlines.

What you bring to the table:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Connecticut and in good standing.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury, insurance defense or civil litigation required.
Advanced negotiation, analytical, and legal research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines.
