Our team is looking for a driven Litigation Attorney to join our growing practice.Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Attorney to handle a diverse caseload. The ideal candidate will have experience managing files from inception through resolution with a strong desire to advocate for clients in the courtroom. This role focuses on matters involving Personal Injury, Insurance Litigation, General Litigation, Land Use and Real Estate Litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full lifecycle of litigation cases in Personal Injury, Insurance Litigation, General Litigation, Land Use, and Real Estate Litigation.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.
- Conduct legal research on complex substantive and procedural issues.
- Represent clients in court appearances, motion hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and strategic counsel.
- Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Bar Admission: Active license in good standing. A dual license in Rhode Island (RI) and Connecticut (CT) is strongly preferred.
- 2-4 years of civil litigation experience preferred.
- Experience in personal injury, insurance defense/coverage, or land use and real estate litigation is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy docket while adhering to strict deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $90,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience.
- Benefits: Health Insurance, 401(k) with firm match, Paid Time Off (PTO).
