The Opportunity:
As a Senior Associate in our Health Law practice, you'll be at the forefront of the rapidly evolving health care industry. This isn't a role where you'll get lost in the shuffle—you'll have hands-on involvement in significant transactions, regulatory matters, and compliance initiatives.
Your day-to-day will include:
Transactional Excellence
- Lead contract negotiations for professional service agreements, vendor service agreements, and other transaction documents
- Serve as a key member of M&A deal teams, handling due diligence, regulatory analysis, and transaction documents
- Assist health care vendors with revenue cycle management and other service agreements
- Provide comprehensive regulatory guidance on fraud and abuse, licensing, reimbursement, and compliance matters
- Design and implement corporate, HIPAA and other compliance policies and documents
- Deliver ongoing outside counsel services, becoming a trusted advisor on day-to-day operational and corporate matters
- Present to health care organizations and professional groups, establishing yourself as an industry expert
- Conduct sophisticated legal research and analysis on emerging health care issues
- Contribute to the firm's reputation as a go-to health law resource
Required Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Tennessee Bar membership (or eligibility and commitment to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum 4 years of health care transactional law experience
- Deep understanding of health care regulations, compliance frameworks, and industry dynamics
- Exceptional research, writing, and analytical capabilities
- Outstanding communication skills—both written and verbal
- Collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach
- Are passionate about health law
