The Opportunity:
As an associate, you will partner with our transactional tax lawyers to help clients navigate the complex and rapidly evolving tax landscape of renewable energy transactions. Your work will be varied, sophisticated, and high-impact, including:
  • Advising clients on tax credit qualification, including beginning-of-construction, prevailing wage, and apprenticeship requirements under Internal Revenue Code Sections 45 and 48
  • Supporting M&A transactions, tax equity financings, tax credit transfers, and other joint ventures
  • Contributing to a practice that offers genuine depth of experience and meaningful client responsibility from day one

Job Requirements:
  • 1–8 years of relevant experience at a law firm
  • Demonstrated experience with tax credit transactions, tax credit transfers, tax equity financings, and tax opinion letters
  • Excellent academic credentials (required); an LL.M. in taxation is preferred
  • Admission to the Texas Bar, or eligibility for admission by waiver or examination
