About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Attorney to assist with drafting complaints, motions, and other civil pleadings in connection with ongoing litigation matters in Colorado. This is a remote based position, ideal for a detail-oriented and reliable attorney familiar with Colorado court rules and civil procedure.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting initial complaints and amendments in civil matters
- Preparing motions, oppositions, replies, and related pleadings
- Conducting legal research as necessary
- Ensuring all documents comply with Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure
- Collaborating remotely with supervising attorney(s) on case strategy and document revisions
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Colorado (or demonstrable experience with Colorado litigation)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with plaintiff-side litigation
- Availability for ongoing work on an as-needed basis
Compensation:
