The Real Property Practice Group of An American Business and Litigation Law Firm seeks a staff attorney to join its Affordable Housing team in one of our West Coast offices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience with commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, leasing, lending, finance, real estate joint ventures and land development projects. An emphasis on lender side financing experience, affordable housing, and prior law firm experience is preferred as well as strong title and survey experience and an ability to work with our paralegals. This is a great opportunity for a confident, self-motivated individual with a demonstrated ability to handle matters independently and a desire to assist our client teams in more complex transactions. Applicants should be comfortable working in a team environment as well as have the ability to handle significant individual responsibilities for more than one supervising attorney. The group is collegial and fast paced, and this position provides excellent opportunities for professional development though it is not a partnership track position.Candidates must have an active, in good standing state bar license, excellent writing skills, high level of attention to detail, track record of responsiveness, and positive professional references.
