Position Overview:We are seeking a mid-level associate to join our dynamic Real Estate Practice Group, with a primary focus on real estate financing transactions. This position is open to candidates in any of our Ohio offices—Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, or Cincinnati. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of standard real estate finance matters, including loan originations, acquisitions, dispositions, and related transactions. While the primary emphasis will be on real estate finance, there will also be opportunities to support the broader real estate practice, working on a diverse range of commercial real estate matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Ohio, or eligibility for admission.
- 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, preferably at a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Experience with standard real estate finance transactions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
