Job Summary:
Kutak Rock LLP seeks an associate to join its real estate and finance practice its Scottsdale, AZ office. This position is ideal for an experienced attorney who wants to further develop their knowledge and skills in a variety of commercial real estate and finance transaction matters while working closely with experienced partners and clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft loan and real estate finance documents
  • Draft and negotiate leases and amendments
  • Draft and negotiate real estate purchase and sale agreements
  • Review, draft and manage real estate-related due diligence
  • Conduct real estate and finance closings

Qualifications: Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of state and federal real estate laws
  • Proficiency in real estate finance
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and tasks simultaneously and to complete tasks efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and possess a high attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Ability and confidence to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team environment

Qualifications: Education and Experience
  • Must be currently admitted to practice in Arizona with an active bar license in good standing or have an active bar license in good standing in another jurisdiction and be eligible to be admitted in Arizona on motion at applicant's expense
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in real estate finance and/or commercial real estate transactions required
  • Excellent academic record

Position Information:
Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $160,000-$180,000 per year, commensurate with experience
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, available with supervising attorney approval, after introductory period
