Mashian Law Group is a West Los Angeles based law firm specializing in commercial real estate litigation and transactions. Since 2006, we have represented landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, brokers and developers at both institutional and entrepreneurial levels.We are seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join our team. This role will provide an opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases including contract disputes, property rights issues, commercial leases, zoning and land use matters, partnership disputes, and corporate litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage real estate and business litigation cases from inception through trial and appeal
- Develop and execute comprehensive trial strategies
- Conduct legal research
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and appellate briefs
- Take and defend depositions
- Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation/arbitration
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on risk management and dispute resolution in real estate and business transactions
- Stay current with changes in real estate and business laws
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Minimum of 15 years' experience, preferably with a focus on real estate and business litigation
- Demonstrated success in handling real estate and business disputes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
