Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, business-minded employment attorney who enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to employers on complex workplace issues and day-to-day employment matters. This attorney will partner closely with HR professionals, in-house counsel, and business leaders to provide practical, strategic, and compliance-focused guidance tailored to each client's unique workforce, culture, and business objectives.

Qualified candidates will have 7–10 years of experience counseling California, national, and multinational employers on a broad range of employment law matters, including wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence, disability accommodations, employee relations, workforce reductions/restructurings, employee discipline and terminations, personnel policies, employment-related agreements, and emerging workplace compliance obligations. Experience with occupational health/safety law compliance and prevailing wage compliance strongly desired/preferred.

Candidates should have substantial experience drafting, reviewing, and implementing employee handbooks, workplace policies, employment-related agreements, and other compliance-related documents. Experience conducting workplace audits, internal investigations, management training, and risk assessments is strongly preferred.

This role requires the ability to identify legal and operational risks, develop practical and legally sound compliance strategies, and deliver actionable guidance that aligns with clients' business goals. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent judgment, strong research and client-service skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with business and HR stakeholders.

Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California.

The expected pay range for this position is:
$375,000 - $400,000 Per Year
