Job Summary:Morris Law Group is seeking a talented and experienced Real Estate and Business Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in navigating complex real estate transactions and business disputes, including contract issues, property ownership matters, and business litigation. This attorney will handle both transactional and litigation matters, providing top-tier legal counsel to clients while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The position requires strong analytical abilities, negotiation expertise, and a proven ability to manage intricate legal issues in both transactional and litigation settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review comprehensive real estate contracts, including purchase agreements, leases, and option contracts.
- Conduct due diligence investigations, including title searches and zoning verification.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of real estate transactions, advocating for the best interests of clients.
- Advise clients on the legal aspects of complex real estate deals, including development projects and property acquisitions.
- Facilitate smooth closing processes, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
- Represent clients in various business disputes, such as breach of contract, shareholder disagreements, and fraudulent misrepresentation claims.
- Conduct thorough legal research and develop litigation strategies to support client interests.
- Draft and file court pleadings, motions, briefs, and prepare for depositions and hearings.
- Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes, working toward favorable outcomes for clients.
- Provide strategic advice to clients regarding potential legal risks and litigation exposure.
- Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with timely, effective legal counsel.
- Communicate complex legal concepts in clear, accessible terms.
- Collaborate across departments within the firm to ensure seamless client service.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the state bar.
- 2+ years of experience in real estate law, including both transactional and litigation matters.
- Proven experience in business litigation with expertise in contract law and commercial disputes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in legal drafting and document review.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple cases simultaneously, as well as collaborating effectively within a team.
