Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Real Estate Attorney (with Probate) 5+ years of experience. Responsibilities will include reviewing and drafting legal documents, handling all aspects of both buyer and seller real estate transactions, and conducting due diligence. The role involves extensive knowledge of the RE industry, Will and Trust documents, personal and commercial real estate transactions and all aspects of conveyance. Day-to-day tasks include direct support to Firm Partner, providing legal advice to clients, ensuring compliance with real estate laws and regulations, and mentorship of support staff.Duties:
- Provide legal counsel on residential and commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leases, and sales.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions; Conduct thorough legal research.
- File, negotiate terms of agreements on behalf of clients while ensuring their interests are protected.
- Represent clients in litigation involving landlord-tenant disputes, and other real estate-related matters.
- Assist clients in navigating the probate process, including the filing petitions and representing them in court.
- Draft, review, and execute legal documents related to estate administration
- Conduct thorough legal research and provide insights on relevant statutes and case law
- Collaborate with Partner, financial advisors, tax professionals, and family members
- Represent clients in contested probate proceedings and mediate disputes among heirs
- Collaborate with clients to develop effective strategies for estate planning as it pertains to real estate holdings.
- Stay updated on changes in laws affecting estates, residential and commercial real estate, including securities law.
- Maintain organized records of all legal documents and correspondence within the law office.

Qualifications:
- Expertise in RE Law, Wills, Trusts, and Probate (litigation is a plus)
- Knowledge of Due Diligence processes and Real Estate Transactions
- Experience with Commercial Real Estate and Real Estate Development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Bar admission in Massachusetts is required
- LLM is a plus
