Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Litigation Attorney with substantial courtroom and litigation experience to handle a growing caseload involving:- Real estate disputes
- Commercial landlord-tenant litigation
- Breach of contract matters
- Construction litigation
- HOA disputes
- Easement and property disputes
- Business litigation matters related to real estate transactions
- The ideal candidate is confident in court, experienced managing litigation files independently, and comfortable handling matters from intake through trial.
Requirements:
- Active license to practice law in Maryland or Virginia
- Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
- Significant Circuit Court experience required
- Experience handling hearings, motions, depositions, mediations, and trials
- Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
- Experience with real estate litigation strongly preferred
- Strong client communication and case management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in both Maryland and Virginia courts
- Portable book of business is a plus but not required
- Trial experience preferred
- Familiarity with Clio or similar case management systems
