Maryland Lawyers has an immediate opening for an experienced real estate transactional attorney to join our Real Estate Group in the areas of leasing, commercial real estate transactions and financing. Our clients include businesses, commercial real estate developers, commercial lenders, tenants, and landlords across the Washington Metropolitan area and beyond. The ideal candidate will have expertise in commercial real estate transactions (preparation and negotiation of purchase/sale agreements and commercial leases), drafting and review of contracts, commercial loan and related financing documents, entity formation and drafting of operating agreements for real estate entities and related documents.Desired Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of related real estate experience
- Excellent research, organizational, communication, presentation, and legal writing skills with a high level of attention to detail required
- Current ability to practice law in Maryland and/or the ability to sit for the Maryland bar required; Virginia and DC bar recommended
