Description:Fox Rothschild has an opening for a Real Estate Associate in the Morristown, NJ office. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of general real estate law experience. A strong academic record and strong writing skills are required. We are not accepting resumes from search firms for this position at this time.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in general real estate practice required.
- Experience with leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, and joint venture agreements are preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, eagerness to learn, and a long‑term interest in contributing to the growth of the practice.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
