Carlton Fields is seeking an associate with at least four years of broad-based transactional experience handling corporate, commercial real estate finance, development, or investment matters. Experience working with lenders, developers, servicers, asset managers, owners, financial institutions and investors in a diverse range of financing, development and investment matters is preferred. Excellent academic credentials and demonstrated drafting skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in Florida, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, while being able to work individually on client matters in an environment where drive, initiative and client service are valued. Substantive practical prior non-legal business experience in the commercial real estate industry is a plus. The desire to foster existing relationships and develop new ones is encouraged and valued.
