The Opportunity:
Seyfarth Shaw LLP seeks a Real Estate Associate with 3–6 years of experience. This position can be located in our Atlanta, Dallas, Houston or Seattle offices. The role will primarily focus on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development and leasing.

The new hire will be a key contributor to a busy, expanding group with significant opportunities for responsibility and career development.

The Day-To-Day:

Represent domestic and international investors, developers, owners, operators, lenders, and institutional clients in data center, digital infrastructure, and other commercial real estate transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, development agreements, easements, infrastructure agreements, and closing documents.
Advise clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and operational matters involving data centers and commercial real estate assets.
Handle all phases of commercial leasing transactions, including structuring, negotiation, diligence, execution, and closing.
Conduct and coordinate due diligence, including lease review, title and survey review, and due diligence reporting.
Assist with multi-jurisdictional and international transactions by coordinating local counsel and managing cross-border diligence and execution processes.
Analyze jurisdiction-specific issues affecting leasing structures, utilities, permitting, property rights, data center operations, and transaction execution.

You Have:

3-6 years of extensive experience with real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development and leasing. Experience with industrial and data center leasing is a plus, but not required.
Interest in joining and actively contributing to a dynamic department handling a broad range of matters for a diversified client base, including those involved in data center, e-commerce, industrial and mixed use development.
Strong commercial and build-to-suit leasing experience, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating lease documentation.
Experience working with developers and project sponsors on ground-up development projects.
Excellent academic credentials, as well as high level analytic, verbal and written communication skills.
Admission to the Georgia, Texas or Washington State bar (as appropriate) or meet the requirements to waive in.
