Position Summary:Spencer Fane is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our Real Estate practice group in our Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in general real estate transactional matters, such as leasing and purchase/sale transactions, real estate finance and/or development incentives. Candidates should have experience drafting real estate agreements. The candidate must have a strong academic record, and prior large law firm experience is preferred.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Juris Doctorate degree from accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
- Admission to Texas state bar
- Ability to interface directly with clients
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organization skills
- Outstanding judgment
Physical Requirements:
- Position is generally sedentary in nature; involves sitting most of the time, but may involve the need for inter-office mobility for brief periods of time
- Ability to occasionally or routinely lift up to 10 – 20 lbs.
- Ability to efficiently communicate
- Ability to perform repetitive motions required
- Ability to see and read PC screens, detect color coding, read fine print, and/or normal type size print
