Description:

Zimmerman Reed, a nationally recognized plaintiffs' law firm, has an immediate opening for a part-time Project Attorney to assist with arbitration hearings between our clients and defendants. This is a remote, temporary position offering meaningful work with an experienced legal team.

This role would require availability for specific hearing days (one per week), starting August 21 and occurring each week thereafter through the beginning of December. The role would require approximately 8-12 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate professionally with clients and opposing counsel
  • Stay on top of the pre-hearing deadlines, coordinate availability for our witnesses (client and expert witness), and handle the hearings themselves
  • Review case materials and provide legal support to supervising attorneys

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school – required
  • Active admission to practice law and in good standing – required
  • Trial or hearing experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage tasks independently while working collaboratively with a remote team
