Product Counsel (Hybrid)

With that vision in mind, we are looking for a Product Counsel to join our Legal team. The Product Counsel will support our engineering and business teams by providing legal guidance on product development and a variety of engineering and commercial transactions, and will be an integral part of the legal function of An Aerospace Company.

What you will do:

• Draft, negotiate, and review a broad range of intellectual property and commercial agreements including supply chain contracts, technology transfer and business development agreements, software licenses (inbound and outbound), professional services contracts, and collaboration agreements
• Advise business and cross functional stakeholders on legal issues that may include regulatory issues, agreement structures and approval processes, company policies and procedures, IP, and negotiation strategy
• Be a key contributor to our legal team's efforts in preparation and implementation of our legal processes and practices
• Support the legal department in other areas as needed
• What you have done:
• J.D. degree with at least 4 years' experience with a law firm or company (some in-house experience preferred)
• Admitted to a State bar, CA preferred
• Experience in drafting and negotiating a broad range of intellectual property and commercial agreements, including technology and supply agreements

Desired:

• Familiarity with other legal areas (e.g., patents, trademarks, privacy, import/export)
• Some experience in aviation or aerospace industry a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay Range the Company expects to pay: $183,602 - $216,002 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
